Phew — you did it! You’ve made it through your family photoshoot, and I hope it was even more fun than you expected. Maybe Dad wasn’t really feeling it at first, your toddler started off shy, maybe someone skipped a nap, or maybe the kids were running wild, and you wondered if we’d get anything at all. But here’s the thing: those honest, unfiltered moments are what make your session yours. The belly laughs, tiny hands reaching for yours, the way your family naturally comes together — these are the moments that tell your story.
My hope is that your photoshoot felt like more than simply taking pictures. I want it to feel like a small pause in the rush of everyday life — a moment to look around, breathe deeply, and see your beautiful family just as you are. You should be in awe of the family you’re building. After every session, I go home to my own family and think how lucky we are. I’m always inspired by the families I meet, and I feel so honored to have captured this chapter of your story!
Now that your session is complete, you might be wondering:
What’s next? When will we see our photos? How do we download them? What about printing?
Here’s everything you can expect in the days and weeks ahead.
Once I leave your session, your work is done and now it’s time for me to work my magic behind the scenes!

I back up your images immediately in multiple locations so everything is safe. From there, I carefully review everything we captured. I tend to overshoot because I love documenting movement, connection, and those little in-between moments. A full family session can easily reach 1,000+ frames.
I go through and remove duplicates, closed eyes, mid-blinks, and anything that doesn’t truly reflect your family’s energy. What remains is a strong, meaningful story of your time together.
After selecting the best images, I begin editing each one individually.
My style is soft, natural, and true-to-life. I want your images to have a film-like quality with a sense of nostalgia, warmth, and connection. Some images will be converted to black and white if they carry a particularly emotional feel—black and white has a way of stripping away distractions and highlighting pure connection. I also take the time to retouch minor distractions, such as temporary skin blemishes or background clutter.

Once editing is complete, your photos will be uploaded to your private online gallery. You’ll receive an email with a link and simple instructions to view, download, and save your images.

• High-resolution files (best for printing)
• Web-sized files (perfect for sharing)
• A seamless experience you can open on any device
Your gallery stays open for four weeks, so be sure to download everything and back it up in at least two places — an external drive and cloud storage are great options.
Your gallery includes a Favorites List feature, which makes it easy to save the images you love most. You can use this collection to plan an album, create a print order, or share a shortlist with family members. Plus, I really love to see which images resonate with you the most!

There is something truly special about seeing your family photos printed. Digital images are wonderful for sharing, but prints turn those moments into tangible memories that you can enjoy every day.
You can order prints, framed pieces, and albums directly through your gallery. I work with Loxley, a professional fine art lab, because their quality is consistent and true-to-life. Shops like DM or Rossmann often shift colors, lose detail, or oversaturate tones, which changes the look of your final images.

If you’d like a custom-designed album, I’d love to create one for you. Just let me know!
Your full gallery will be delivered within 2–3 weeks.
Your gallery is available for four weeks. Please download and back up your images before it closes.
Yes — they’re yours. I just ask that you don’t use any filters, and if you feel comfortable, tagging me is always appreciated!
A few days after you receive your gallery, I’ll email check in on how everything is going. I’ll also include a link to leave a Google review. If you loved your session, sharing your experience really helps other families feel confident booking and know what their experience might be like, and they make a big difference for my small business.
I also typically will send out a client feedback survey a couple of times a year asking for anonymous feedback on your client experience. It is important to me that you feel comfortable each step of the way.
I’m here to help with that too. Whether you want a gallery wall or just a few framed pieces, I can offer suggestions.
I would love that! Returning families always get priority scheduling and support with choosing the best time of year.
From planning to delivery, my goal is to make this experience simple and heartfelt — something that feels easy for you as parents, and meaningful for your family. Thank you again for inviting me into your lives and allowing me to document this chapter. It truly means the world to me.
If you have any questions, ideas, or need help with printing or displaying your photos, I’m always here.
Warmly,
Meg
Meg is truly a gift behind the camera. She captured both my maternity and newborn photos. She captures the love and little in-between moments so effortlessly. Looking through the photos, I see not just what we looked like in those special days, but exactly how we felt. If you’re looking for someone who is not only incredibly talented but also deeply kind and grounded, Meg is the one.
