Before your session, I take the time to learn about you. Your family's dynamic, your vision for the session, what feels most important about this season in life, the little things you never want to forget. The more I understand about who you are and what this season means to you, the more intentional and personal your images will be.

A relaxed, unhurried pace. I work with your kids, not against them. If someone needs a snack break, a moment to warm up, or just wants to wander for a bit, we work with that. That's usually where the best photos come from anyway.

When you're ready to book, I'll send you an online proposal that only takes a few minutes to complete. You'll choose your session type, sign the agreement, and pay your 200€ retainer to secure your spot.

Planning

Now the fun begins! I'll help with everything from outfit ideas, location suggestions, and tips & tricks to make sure the session feels as easy and fun as possible.By the time your session day arrives, all you need to do is show up ready to play and connect with each other.

Session

I'll take a few minutes to get a feel for the space we're in and the mood of the group. There's time for your kids to warm up to me and then we'll get started. Each session is child-led, meaning I go at their pace and don't force anything. I'll gently guide and prompt as needed, and step back to watch things unfold. That's usually when the magic happens.

Your complete gallery is delivered to your inbox in 2 weeks. You'll be able to download, share, and order prints direcly from your online gallery.

Printing Your Photos

Once you've had the time to look through your gallery, ordering your favorites is super easy. You can order directly from your online gallery whenever you're ready or ask me to design your Fine Art Album for you. 

I work with a limited number of families each month to ensure each family feels valued and supported. Many families come back year after year. If my work feels right to you, I'd love to hear from you.

Asked Questions

When is the best time to book?

I work with a limited number of families each month, so booking early is key. Most families choose to book at 6-8 weeks in advance, and returning families often save their month 3 months out. Sessions take place Monday - Friday.

What if my kids don't behave?

They will! (At least in the way that matters.) Kids are full of energy, curiosity, and big feelings—that’s part of the magic! I know it can feel stressful for the parents to relax or feel everyone needs to perform a certain way, but that often leads to stiff and awkward photos. On the day of your session, your only job is to show up on time, be yourselves, and be ready to have fun. Show up willing to laugh things off and be present with your family, and I promise we’ll have a blast.

Can we include our dog(s)?

Absolutely! Pets are a vital part of the family. 

I recommend at-home sessions as the easiest way to include your pets in your session, so they can come and go without anyone stressing about holding a leash.

Do you help choose the location?

Yes! Each family session in individual and is planned based on your family's preferences, needs, and dynamic. After booking, we'll get to know each other through my planning questionnaire or a short consultation call. After learning more about your family, I will recommend 2-3 locations as well as timing to match the overall vibe you want for your photos.

Newborn Session are always held in the comfort of your own home.


What time will our session start?

This depends on which location we select and what time of year it is. In-Home sessions take place at 10 AM, as that is when the light is the best indoors. Outdoor sessions are typically offered around sunrise and sunset, and we'll discuss the specific timing during our planning.

What happens if it rains on our session day?

A little rain doesn't have to mean a reschedule. If the forecast is looking grey, we'll be in touch ahead of time to talk through our options together. Depending on the type of session you've booked, we might shift to an in-home session, wait for a better window in the day, or reschedule if needed. I'll always make sure we land on something that works for your family. The goal is for you to feel relaxed going into your session, not stressed about the weather.

When will we receive our photos?

Your photos are more than just files—they’re memories you’re eager to relive and share. That’s why I prioritize a fast and thoughtful turnaround. You can expect your final gallery within 2 weeks.

Do you share our images online?

As part of my planning questionnaire for every family, I check what your preferences are regarding sharing images online and on social media. I respect your privacy choices, always.

That said, sharing recent work is an important part of what I do as a photographer. It's how families find me, and I love being able to share that. So if you're open to it, I genuinely appreciate it. But there is no pressure, and your answer will never affect the quality of your experience or your gallery.

Do you work with english-speaking families?

I do! Many of the families I work with here in Munich are expat and international families or are families who are traveling from the USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and beyond. I am a native English Speaker from the US and clear communication and a comfortable experience throughout is my top priority. I also work with bilingual families and German families in German. I've found being able to switch back and forth between German and English to be especially helpful for families with young children in Kita. 

Our home/apartment is too small

That's no problem. All we need is a room with a window and we can create beautiful images of your family. Please remember, these photos are about your family and this stage of life, not your home. These are memories that you'll treasure for years to come. And the good news is, many of the photos in my portfolio were taken in modest homes. 

I'm really awkward in front of the camera

You're not alone in that feeling. But after photographing so many families, I know how to use light and angles in a way that's flattering. More than that, we're focusing on connection over perfection. So once you're laughing with your kids or engaged in an activity together, you'll stop worrying so much about the camera and just enjoy spending time together. That's when the most beautiful and heartfelt images happen.
